General: When I try to uninstall a MIKE by DHI product from the control panel I get the following error message: “Unable to edit the registry. Aborting the setup.”

This is due to either User Account Control (UAC) being at a too high level, your security system is blocking an action or you do not have sufficient user rights. To work around this please try the following procedures:

    1.  Set UAC to the lowest setting (or off on VISTA), then try uninstalling again.
    2.  In the folder for the specific installer(which contains the .exe, .cab and .msi files), right click setup.exe and select “run as administrator”. Choose ‘Remove’ to uninstall when you get the option.
    3. Run the ‘MIKE by DHI’ Setup.exe launcher from the 2012 or later DVD by right clicking it and choosing “run as administrator”, select the corresponding MIKE Product from the list and press the modify button. Choose ‘Remove’ to uninstall when the installer is launched.
